I recently started offering a new type of session: a day in the life. When you book this type of documentary portrait session, you’re inviting me to follow you and your pup(s) around for your daily activities, from a walk in the park, to a hike in the woods, to a visit to your favorite drive through (my Emmet LOVES the bank machine that sends him cookies!)… even long naps on the couch! 🙂
Day in the Life sessions last about 3-4 hours, and locations are unlimited! We can be as busy or as laid-back as you and your furry kiddo want, and the session is truly all about documenting your daily lives. The session fee includes a gorgeous album jam packed with the story of a typical day for your pup! After greeting me and a few light testing shots, Colby’s day started off with some playtime in the yard, and ended in a bath after some swimming at the Misty Pines pond!
Colby loves her Kuranda bed!
We went from Colby’s house to Misty Pines, where she worked a little bit on agility and walked the trail down to the pond. She even got in to work on ‘fetch,’ which this stubborn girl doesn’t always like to do 😉
On the ride home, Colby had no idea what she was in for when we got there!
Bath time for the stinky pond girl!!!
And after a bath, it’s always time for zoomies!
Time for mom to dry you off, silly goose 🙂
The pretty (and clean) girl posed for some glamour shots!
Everyone loves Colby’s Ella’s Lead collar!
And then did some more zooming!
After a little while, Colby came inside to wait for her dinner (her brothers patiently waited too!).
Of course we had to check out some things outside…
And throw the “little” brothers some dirty looks….
And waited for Mom to let her into the bedroom for her nap…
Then it was snuggle time 🙂
Thank you SO much to Colby’s awesome Momma for letting me follow you guys around all afternoon! I have a gorgeous sample album of Colby’s Day in the Life session, and I love that my clients can check out the album before booking! Keep an eye out for a future blog post featuring that album!
