Once upon a time, I was scrolling through my Facebook feed, when an adorable wrinkly face stopped me in my tracks. I just *had* to ~~snuggle~~ photograph her, and so I did 😉

Meet Kia.

There were lots of puppy antics involved in our evening.

And just look at how proud she was to carry around this bag… of her POOP! (We all forgot to bring poop bags, and this was the only one her owners found in the car.) I couldn’t help but snap a photo of her trotting around with it 😉

And just LOOK at that pudgy little butt!

Seriously, I couldn’t get enough of this girl. During our session, her Mom told me that her littermate would be joining their family, too! Unplanned, but super exciting! Of course I had to set up a second session!

Double the wrinkles and double the cute!

Oh, and by the way, this is Kenya.

These two <3 I can’t handle the squish!

Whew! It’s been far too long since I’ve blogged! Let’s bring it back in with a bang – a SIX dog portrait session! 🙂 Not all of these guys get along, so we didn’t get to do a portrait of all six together, but their parents ordered a wall gallery that includes each of these wonderful pups, and I can’t wait to see it on the wall! Scroll to the bottom to see a preview of their wall gallery!

Gretchen volunteers with Hello Bully, and she found me through Speckles and Jensen’s mom, Ashley. When she first booked, there were four dogs, but after one long awaited reschedule, two more pups joined their family and I had my work cut out for me 😉

I just *had* to share this outtake of Charlie! His “pretty” portrait is in the wall gallery, so you still get an idea of his handsome serious face 😉

Their dad may or may not have a favorite. I won’t mention who it is.

Three of these guys are inseparable. I love how these images turned out! 🙂

And, finally: the wall gallery!

This is going to look so fantastic on the wall in their home, I can’t wait to see them hanging!

Jensen is such a dapper gentleman; when he called me up on his paw phone asking me to capture his proposal to his love, Speckles, I was thrilled!

He was very nervous, but he mustered up the courage to get down on four paws and pop the question!

He arranged a beautiful, romantic dinner for two at the lovely Vivo Restaurant in Sewickley.

Jensen needed some time to compose himself, so he sent Specks along to await her love.

At last, he arrived at the table and he couldn’t stop staring at his beautiful bride-to-be as she enjoyed her delicious meal.

Jensen scarfed down his meal and decided he’d had too much of the paparazzi, but he knows Speckles’ love for the camera, so he insisted that she pose for some portraits in the perfect scene he put together. After finishing off her meal, she batted those lashes and showed off her new bling!

She decided to sit by the warm fire and take in the moment, and squeal over her diamond!

She’s going to make such a beautiful bride!

Congratulations to the future Mr. and Mrs. Jeckles! The couple plans a Spring 2016 wedding, which will be a fundraiser and awareness event for Hello Bully. Their registry will contain items needed by the Pittsburgh-based pitbull rescue, and donations will be graciously accepted in their names.

This gang was a blast! I’m so pleased with how this group portrait turned out, and their individual portraits are so cute!

Seriously, could these Golden Retrievers be any more beautiful?!

You may remember Specks from the spring Casting Call sessions I did. She was shy last time, but her recent session with her new brother showed her “hammy” side 🙂

Jensen was adopted from Hello Bully, and he’s actually a foster failure! He was pulled from the second largest dog-fighting raid in the U.S. and he’s so lucky to be where he ended up! Check out Hello Bully’s website or Facebook page to look at some adorable bully babies looking for homes!
